CAN THEY STILL READ THE METERS?
Yes. The reason for the lightweight materials is so that they can be easily lifted or removed if physical access to the gas or electric meter is required by the utilities or the homeowner.
IS IT LEAGAL TO COVER UTILITY METERS?
Yes. According to the gas and electric utilities the meters can be covered or housed if certain criteria are met. In order to meet those criteria the utility worker has to be able to physically access the meter, although this is rarely needed.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
The plastic mounting collar is precision molded to fit 6 1/4 inch meter or 5 1/2 inch meters. (please measure your meter before you place your order). There is an added rubber seal and trim for safe, snug and secure fit over glass meter. 8 holes are cut to insert and secure the artificial plants stems. 4 or 6 packs of green decorative artificial hanging plants are included with each order.
